Bored....

Queenie came up with the idea of doing crazy makeup which im so happy about because i wanted to start doing headshots!! its diff i love it!!! basicly makeup took like 2 hours lol.. but it was def worth the wait the model is Aderianna another model i met from MM!! what suprised me is that she did all of this with eyeshadow.... i really thought it was paint!! but im happy to see the idea come to life... queenie said she doesnt like the silver thing but i like it 2 me its kind of Alien..esk lol and i also thought it would be hot to make her look like she was nude and put makeup down her neck!! what do you think??

Hey!! im actualy in a ok mood right now i have kind of been down :( i actualy took time today to just sit down and go through all my work... i think "Artiise" has improved alot... which made me smile for the first time in a few days... so i just decided to do a collage of all the ppl i have had the pleasure to shoot with...

it seems like just yesterday (i know cliche) that i worked with my very first model off MM or in general!! Sara S... i hope she forgives me because the pictures came out horrible lol... but everyone seems to like the pic of her i use.... but its crazy that i have now done about 23 shoots since then and each shoot gets better and better!!! i have made so many great friends models/photogs/MUA's/stylist all of the above!! and it makes me feel good to know i can do what i love... and even better im converting my garage!! and the first step to my dream will be completed! I WILL HAVE MY OWN STUDIO!! i just want to be serious for a sec!! and thank everyone who was willing to work with me!! and had faith in me! this pushes me to keep doing what i love and continue my dream.. and in the words of my homie MIH!! (make it happen) :)

Im Back :)

Hola.... so basicly i havent been shooting i did my first shoot in a while about 2 days ago... it was a long day but we got the shoot done it was actually with 2 dif models ill post the other pics as soon as they are done :) but for now i have my fav pics from the shoot im starting to get into the head shots thing :) the model is Acacia makeup by Queenie Photographed by me of corse and the first pic chase retouched but i did the black and white 1 :)

Heller wats pop lockin?? welllllll i had a GREAT wekend!!! my BFFFFFFF Gracie came to vizizt from texas and all the wifeys and homies came to chill lol i had so much fun i had a shoot on monday but.. of corse it rained but n e way i dont have to much to write but me n grace did a photoshoot and the pics came out sooo effin hot so hea thea goo woop wooop :)

we did this in my little ass room on my broken bed lol photoshop is a beautiful thing haha the whole pearls thing was her idea it was hot tho i would love to do a shoot like this again!!!

Withdrawal :(

Wass haaapnin.... well its been a hot minute i havent been updating things but ive just been catching up on a few things a wholllle lotta retouching... im sooo going through withdrawal lol... i need a shoot RITE NOW!!! i have a couple coming up in Oct... but i want 1 now... well i have 2 on sep 25th and 28th so thats not 2 bad but its not enuff!!!.... but other then that life is great!!!! lol soooo... with that said hopefully i will be on alot more often.... so i guess for right now im gunna post a few of the pics from a plus size model i worked with... i finally got the chance to do the pics over the weekend :)

her name is camelia she was a greattt model she was soo killin it lol.... she did her own styling and makeup.... the shoot went bad tho because we tried to do a sunset shoot lol.. and lost 2 much lite so all the pics of her in the water are blurry so... but thank god for the few good shots we got while we still had lite :)

Blah...

Sup!! soooo today didnt go as planned like always lol.... i was suppose 2 go 2 farrock and shoot but i didnt i stayed home and slept i was to tired i had 2 wake up early for the doc.... but n e way im excited about my shoot tomorrow Queenie (Qunasia) is bringing a friend who is also a makeup artist so i cant wait to see how her work comes out woohoooo sooooooo todayyyy im gunna post pics of Micha yayyyy lol....

HOT ASS SHOES!!!

Wooohooo hello :) sooo my last 2 shoots wer hot!!!! Quanasia did her thing on makeup especialy with Bridgitte the model from england who was soooo cool and she gave me some hot ass shoes!!!!! Qunasia did some color joint on her makeup that was so hot!!! def will post those soon... but for now!!!!! im gunna posttt the pics i took of the shoes to post on facebook since ive been talking about them so much... they look 10 times better in person :) and when i take pics of me in them :) sooo b4 i post them i jes wanna write about the week coming... i have a bizzie day 2 morro i have to go to the doc for a check up but i might cancel because i have 2 shoots and i have to go wit chase to his schooll yesss.. hes starting school in manhattan on sept 8th woohoo... and since im gunna b out that way im staying in farock because i have a big shoot on wednesday that we have been planning like 4 eva!!! wooohoo cant wait i think u guys will love thees pics!!!

What a day....

soooooo today was crazy... first off the day started out real good the shoot with Micha went really good she was so cool!!! Qunasia did her thing today on makeup... we shot at the train station and at the broke down brooklyn water works building... def going back to that its so hot!!! it was fun up until yvette and chase saw a snake lmao.. soo look out for those sooon :) i have a shoot in the morning with a model from england :) i dont even know where im shooting at... its just going to be another imrpov shoot like most of them.... i was suppose to do the african theme shoot 2 morro nite but that doesnt look like its going through so i just canceled it... other then that had some problems with 1 of the MUA's... we shall see how that turns out... a wise man once told me 2 tie my camels because all that glitters isnt gold.... i guess i spoke way 2 soon thats all i have to say about that situation.... n e way 1 of the models who was suppose to be in the african theme shoot was ashante who was 1 of the first models i worked with so its only right to post her pics :)







we did the shoot in freeport... we call it "by the water" its a fire training house.... she did her hair makeup and even styled her own clothez!!! this was b 4 we even thawt about "Team" in the artiise name... what famous actress does she look like???????????????????????? YES!!! RUDY COSBY!!! LOL

African theme

HIII sooo i guess i should tell you about a big shoot the team is doing on sunday!!!! its a african animal theme... i have 4 wine glasses with 4 diff animals from africa a cheetah, zebra, i guess its a white tiger lol and a elephant... i chose 4 models that i think would look hot as animals or atleast face paint so look out for those hopefully no flakers!!! and the shoot will actualy go through... while im at it ill post a picture i did of a model in brooklyn it was kind of a improv jungle theme :)



The model is samantina zenon styled by roni stylez and her makeup was done in photoshop by chase :) by the way all the photos u see are retouched by chase we work together!!!

Stress!!!

hola!! im a lil stressed out today because i have so many pending shoots but its so hard 2 get all of Team A together at 1 time... its so hard to keep up with stuff not to toot my own horn lol... but i get like 5-10 messages a day on MM of ppl who want to work not including the ppl i send messages 2 who reply..... it seems like everytime i plan a actual shoot nobody is available on that day.... its getting crazy... and im also fed up with FLAKERS!!! i hate it models always seem to flake on days when the whole team is ready 2 shoot.... im so tired of it i wanna make some progress.... i have 3 shoots coming... tomorrow, sunday and 2 on wednesday... lets hope Team A can keep it together and pull through because im tired of planning and stressin all week for a shoot that doesnt happen....

Qunasia did makeup and hair for this shoot it was her first shoot with Team A :) we had so much fun... like most of our shoots we act silly i love doing city shoots because you can hear the crowed of ppl behind you whispering is she famous lol.... so fun!!!

Getting started

hi :)

Yay!! my first blog well i guess i will just explain what the purpose is and who i am..... do i have to use proper puncuation because i really dont feel like it.... so im not... my name is Alicia Taylor you can call me Laydee Artiise :) basicly this blog is to help me network and kind of let ppl follow me on my photography journey i just finished school (i majored in photo of corse) and now im a free lance photographer trying to find my place in the fashion world i actualy have worked with alot of great models, stylist, and MUA's so my port is on its way... as of now we have 4 official members of "Team A" (thanx 2 Ebzii for the Team part of our name lol) which are me, Chaisen the graphic artist who started Artiise with me ( my partner in crime and boyfriend), Sheri the MUA/Model and Qunasia The Hair/MUA we also work with ronistylez cant wait for her to get back!!! so look out for us!!!! so uhmmmm... lets have fun :)
